Our Children Are Our Greatest Blessings

Hope for The Hurting

Welcome To Strike Out Against Drugs
We are a nonprofit 501c3 organization focused on helping our younger generation understand the dangers (short and long term) of drugs/alcohol abuse and the consequences of addiction. Through real-life testimonies and outreach programs. We are sending a positive message to our youth before they become involved in these types of behaviors, all of which can lead to violent or illegal activities. Through our personal experiences of how this type of lifestyle destroyed (ours and other countless lives) we feel our real life messages cannot be matched by any book or statistic. We are real people telling our real stories...

STRIKE OUT AGAINST DRUGS is sending a powerful message to help school aged children to make healthier decisions, that in return, will help them to become active and responsible members of our communities.

Healthy Personal

Young people who persistently abuse substances often experience an array of problems including difficulty with academics. health related problems both physical and mental resulting in poor peer relationships, and involvement with the juvenile justice system. Additionally, substance abuse by school aged children often impact family members, the community, and the entire society.
Learning to set personal boundaries is necessary for maintaining a positive  self-concept or  self-  image. It's our way of communicating to others that we have self-respect and self-worth And protects us from being manipulated, used or violated by others.
Adolescence is a stressful time in life. It's the perfect time in life to teach school aged children positive coping and problem solving skills, both of which are necessary for them to become responsible and productive adults. Teens who are not taught methods for coping with stress end up finding destructive ways to manage their lives such as drinking, drugs, gangs and other dangerous activities.
